Discuss your laboratory robotics project
Tell us the hardware platform you need and how your scheduling software should connect.
LabCarry manufactures the mechanical hardware, integrates sourced bases and arms, and completes hardware/firmware connections, platform interfaces, assembly and calibration. Begin with a non-confidential project brief.
What to include in your first brief
Describe the task and the hardware functions your software needs to call. Include:
- Your company type, software or robotics product and current development stage.
- The robot body, platform, gripper, rack or complete hardware platform you need.
- Preferred base and arm models, if already selected.
- Carrier dimensions and mass, workstation access and handling requirements.
- The intended scheduling software connection and required platform functions.
- Prototype or batch quantity, target timing and hardware acceptance needs.
Example of a useful non-confidential brief
Example task brief: “We develop laboratory scheduling software and need a mobile manipulator hardware platform for rack transfers. We need LabCarry to manufacture the body, rack platform and gripper, integrate the selected base and arm, and deliver a calibrated platform with an agreed interface. Our team will connect its scheduling software and manage the laboratory workflow.”
THANK YOU FOR CONTACTING LABCARRY
Your project enquiry
has been received.
Your project details have been submitted to our team for engineering review.
We will review your requirements.
We typically respond within 1 business day to discuss your project and the next steps.
We’ll contact you to arrange the NDA before any confidential project information is shared or reviewed.
What the first discussion should resolve
Agree the mechanical scope, selected base and arm, device interoperability, platform interface and hardware acceptance. Identify the functions your scheduling software will call and the configuration needed for a prototype or production quotation.
Prepare with the OEM project input checklist or the hardware acceptance guide.
