Discuss a custom hardware moduleA transport platform can connect work areas. A mobile manipulator adds a defined pickup or placement action. A sample transport configuration adds carrier and identity requirements to the physical transfer.
Choose the physical action first. These categories can overlap: a sample transport system may use a mobile base, and a mobile manipulator may carry samples. The decisive question is what must happen at the source and destination.

A fixed transfer fixture may be sufficient when endpoints and object positions are tightly constrained. An arm is a candidate when the required handling action cannot be achieved by the agreed carrier and station arrangement. Compare both in the transport versus manipulation guide.
LabCarry delivers the integrated hardware and the agreed platform interface. The customer supplies the scheduling software that uses that interface to direct tasks.
